At The Hoylen Agency, Inc. we have been serving individuals, families, and businesses in South Carolina for over 28 years. We are recognized by our clients and within the insurance industry as a leader in service, quality products, and attention to detail. At The Hoylen Agency, we develop close relationships with our clients and we work very hard for them. Today, we protect more than 2,000 homes and 5,000 cars in South Carolina. We also provide business insurance to more than 200 local businesses.

We take pride in getting to know our clients on a one-on-one basis, and we handle their needs as if they are family. Who We Are
Billy Hoylen
I grew up in Florence, South Carolina where I graduated from West Florence High School and Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I have 28 years of experience as an insurance agent in Florence.
My goal is always to provide quality service after the sale of insurance.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family over a nice meal or going to church on the weekends. A fun fact about me is that I compete at the state level in golf. I am passionate about supporting The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Help 4 Kids.

HENRY “SKIP” DUFFEE
I grew up in Florence, South Carolina where I went to The College of Charleston and graduated from the honors college there. My major was philosophy with a minor in political science. I then went on to The University of South Carolina School of Law where I graduated with a Jurors Doctorate degree. I am a Licensed attorney. I have 5 plus years selling and servicing commercial and personal lines insurance with Nationwide and other carriers. I enjoy creative problem solving and helping people protect what they worked hard to earn.
In my free time, I enjoy deer hunting, shooting sports, and enjoying the great outdoors. You can also find me spending quality time with my family at our home. My two guilty pleasures would have to be ice cream and grilling. I am also a Member of West Florence Rotary Club.

STACI DUFFEE
I grew up in Florence, South Carolina and I went to Francis Marion University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Marketing. I have worked with my father’s agency since 2007 right after graduating and I am a 3rd generation insurance agent serving The Pee Dee. I truly enjoy helping people and protecting the things they work hard for.
I can’t stop talking about my little boy, Henry, my husband, family, and tennis! I am a member of The Junior League of Florence and enjoy volunteering and working with them in our local community. The Skin Cancer Foundation is my favorite charity, as my sister has suffered from Melanoma skin cancer.

CAROLINE STEPP
I was born and raised in Kingstree, South Carolina where I attended Williamsburg Academy. I earned my BA in Art from Coastal Carolina University. I married my husband, Brandon, in 2017, and moved to Florence. Shortly after moving to Florence, I earned my P&C insurance license and started my career in insurance. My favorite thing about my job is getting to know my clients on an individual basis and learning to identify and meet their specific needs.
In my free time, I enjoy being on the farm with family and having fun on the water with friends. I spend my weekends either on my family farm on the Black River or out on the water around Georgetown fishing with my husband.
